We picked my car up so we stopped and got sandwiches and ingredients for tomorrow’s dinner at the Italian store.
For dinner I made sesame soba noodles with tofu, cucumber and snow peas.
I did a lot of weaving but one warp broke! I have to wait for some special needles to arrive to try and fix it.
We watched Resident Alien on Peacock, we got a free six months with our internet provider.
For brunch Matt made pancakes. So good! He real has perfected pancakes during all this.
I made made crumble bars.
For dinner we smoked some lamb on the grill that I had bought frozen last year! It got done way faster than expected, maybe because it was very hot so that threw our meal plans off a bit. We ended up eating it cold with some stuffed grapes leaves and a tomato salad I made with mozzarella pearls, parsley and cucumber.
Matt still doesn’t feel great so I picked up some sick food for him at the store. I had some smoked salmon we had from Costco for dinner and popcorn. For lunch I had some noodles and the half of burger that was leftover from yesterday.
Did some weaving.
We made chicken burgers for dinner but Matt didn’t feel great so who knows what we are going to eat later in the week.
Matt went to an Italian market near his parents’ house and brought back some goodies!
We had two kinds of “stuffed bread” (stromboli?) and some stuffed peppers and olives.
Then for dinner we had some eggplant parm and Matt made sauce and spaghetti to go with.
Lots of cleaning and watched some
City on the Hill on our 99¢ Prime Day sub.
Actually ate at a restaurant with a friend! I was invited to a PR lead brunch and got to try about some new sandwiches at Dashery.
They source things locally which was a big plus.
For dinner I had Taiwanese wide instant noodles with beet greens from the CSA and some frozen mixed seafood.
Matt came back from NYC with some goodies so we had a late night mozzarella and bread snack .
For lunch I picked up some fancy pancit bihon topped with lechon kawali. I dropped some books off at the little free library too! I haven’t made a drop off in ages!
I made a cake this morning too!
I am worried about the new Delta variant. I guess the WHO says vaccinated people need to stay masked? I have been 99.9% of the time anyway but eek!
For dinner I made a tuna salad with tomatoes and cucumbers and a hard boiled egg.
On Becoming a God in Central Florida and warped my big loom.
Matt is visiting his parents so I made fake crab salad with cucumber, kewpie mayo, ponzu and shichimi togarashi. He doesn’t love fake crab so I don’t make it often.
For dinner I had some frozen shrimp and steamed broccoli. Finished up a weaving!
Seriously, we bought two rotisserie chickens at Costco and we’ve been having sandwiches, quesadillas and chicken salad since Sunday.
More weaving, watching
City on the Hill and Evil. Hammock time. Read the new Laura Lippman and what a disappointment!
Went to Aldi today for some staples.
For lunch I had canned soup and then some popcorn.
Started a new weaving project. This one isn’t going quite as smoothly. Not bad but some yarn snapped and I accidentally cut a cord I wasn’t supposed to.
For dinner Matt made longsilog and Swiss shard.
We finished up some Swedish mystery. I really want to do a day trip tomorrow but it looks like it’s going to be bad weather.
